Meet K.D.Walker

Hi, I'm K.D. Walker— storyteller at heart, and the creative mind behind colorful, feel-good children's books! Born in New York and now blooming in North Carolina with my husband and our three amazing boys. With a background and Degree in healthcare  and a deep love for family, I was inspired to write after the loss of my incredible mother—and by the everyday magic I see in my children. I write and illustrate stories that spark imagination, giggles, and meaningful conversations. My books are crafted to help kids feel seen, understood, and celebrated just as they are. Whether it's a laugh-out-loud moment or a quiet bedtime hug, my goal is to bring families closer through joyful stories that leave a lasting heartprint.
