Meet The Characters

AMARA
Amara is more than just a character—she’s a reflection of the little girl I once was. I created Amara as a way to heal the child within me—the little girl who lost her mom and didn’t quite know how to carry that kind of sadness. Through Amara, I gave that child a voice, a soft place to land, and the comforting reminder that love doesn’t disappear—it transforms.
This character is my tribute to the child I was, and to the mother I lost. Amara’s story is a love letter to anyone—especially children—learning how to hold on, even when they have to let go.

Aussie Fantastic : The Amazing Magician
Aussie Fantastic is a 10-year-old boy with a mind that sparkles with imagination and a heart full of wonder. He sees the world through his own unique lens.
Aussie is autistic, and for him, that means he experiences things deeply. He may not always say what he’s feeling, but you can see it in the way his eyes light up when he’s excited—or how he flaps his hands when something truly amazes him. And nothing amazes him more than magic.
Aussie was inspired by my oldest son, who is also autistic—a beautiful, brilliant boy who experiences the world in his own extraordinary way. This character is a celebration of that kind of brilliance: the kind that doesn’t always follow the crowd, but often sees things that others miss.
Aussie Fantastic reminds readers that being different is magical, and that true power lies in believing in yourself, no matter how the world may see you.
